What the ABW format is

Using LibreOffice

1. Open the ABW file in LibreOffice Writer with File → Open.
2. Compare the imported document with the original, checking page size, margins, font substitution, tables, images, headers, footers, and page breaks.
3. Choose File → Export as PDF, set any required PDF options, and select Export.
4. Choose the output folder and filename, then inspect the resulting PDF.

LibreOffice can also process files from a command line:

Replace output with an existing destination directory and document.abw with the source path. The command normally creates a PDF with the same base filename in the destination directory.
