Normalize evens the loudness to a standard level; Gain adds or removes a fixed amount.

How it works

Upload audio and choose Normalize to bring it to a standard loudness (-16 LUFS, as podcasts and streaming use) or Gain to make it louder or quieter by a set number of decibels.

Normalize is the safe choice: quiet files get louder, loud ones are tamed, and peaks never clip.
With Gain a limiter catches the peaks, so the sound does not distort.
