Convert FPC to JPG

Understanding FPC and JPG file formats

The FPC (Flipchart File) is a proprietary file format developed by Promethean for their interactive whiteboard software, ActivInspire. It is used to store interactive lessons, presentations, and other educational materials. FPC files can contain text, images, audio, and video, as well as interactive elements such as quizzes and games.

On the other hand, JPG (or JPEG) is a widely used file format for storing digital images. It uses lossy compression, which reduces file size but can also result in a loss of image quality. JPG files are supported by virtually all image viewing and editing software, as well as web browsers.

Converting FPC to JPG

Converting FPC files to JPG is not straightforward, as FPC is a proprietary format and not widely supported. However, it is possible using the ActivInspire software itself.

Here are the steps:

1. Open the FPC file in ActivInspire.
2. Go to File → Export → Image.
3. Select JPG as the output format.
4. Choose a location to save the converted file and click 'Save'.

Please note that this will only convert the current page of the FPC file to JPG. If the FPC file contains multiple pages, you will need to repeat this process for each page.

Best software for FPC to JPG conversion

The best software for converting FPC to JPG is undoubtedly ActivInspire itself, as it is the only software that can natively open and convert FPC files. However, please note that ActivInspire is not free software.
