Convert DPP to JPG

Understanding DPP and JPG file formats

The DPP file format is a proprietary format used by Canon's Digital Photo Professional software. It is primarily used for storing raw image data captured by Canon cameras. These files contain unprocessed data directly from the camera's sensor, allowing for greater flexibility in post-processing.

On the other hand, the JPG (or JPEG) format is a widely-used image format known for its lossy compression, which significantly reduces file size while maintaining acceptable image quality. JPG files are ideal for sharing and displaying images on the web due to their smaller size.
