Convert IFO to MP4

Converting DVD-Video Disc Information Files directly to MPEG-4 Videos (.ifo to .mp4 conversion) is not possible, since IFO files only contain information, but no media data. Only in conjunction with VOB and VRO files can these be used as complete video data files.

Only the entire set of files (IFO, VOB, VRO) can be converted to a single video format, such as MP4. Use a dedicated DVD ripper software, such as HandBrake or MediaCoder, to grab and convert video data and save it in MP4 format.
