AI files are Adobe Illustrator documents, a popular vector graphics format used by designers and illustrators. AI files store scalable graphics, paths, shapes, and text, making them ideal for print and digital design work.

Converting a DES embroidery design to an AI vector graphic allows you to edit, scale, and repurpose the design in professional graphic design software. This is useful for branding, marketing materials, or further customization of the design.

How to convert DES to AI

Direct conversion from DES to AI is not natively supported by most software, as these formats serve different purposes. However, you can use a two-step process:
