Converting 3ds Max Scene Files directly to SketchUp Document format (.max to .skp conversion) might be possible using 3ds Max software. It doesn't, however, seem to have a default export-to-skp function. You might have to install a plugin to the software to enable users to export their .max files directly as .skp graphics.
