It appears that conversion from 3ds Max scene (.max) to a AutoCAD DWG format (.dwg) is possible, but it represents a 3D to 2D conversion. This is most likely can also be achieved using other 3D modeling tools with support of AutoCAD formats, or some dedicated 3D conversion utilities. But keep in mind that max to dwg conversion will create a single 2D view of the 3D model.
