MO3 conversion is a rendering process, not a metadata-preserving file transform. The output M4A will be a fixed audio recording of the module playback, so tracker-specific features such as pattern editing, instrument data, and loop structure are no longer editable in the same way.

Audio quality depends on the render settings used during export and the AAC bitrate chosen for M4A.
