1. Open LibreOffice Writer.
2. Use File → Open and select the .mhtml or .mht file.
3. If the file opens as a webpage, review the layout and formatting to make sure the content imported correctly.
4. Choose File → Save As.
5. Select ODF Text Document (*.odt) as the file type.
6. Enter a filename ending in .odt and save the document.

Notes on quality and limitations

Images and basic text formatting often transfer well, but exact spacing, fonts, and responsive web design elements may change during import.
