Converting IS2 to BMP

Converting IS2 files to BMP format can be a bit challenging due to the proprietary nature of the IS2 format. However, it is possible with the right software. One of the best software for this task is FLIR Tools, a free software suite from FLIR Systems.

Steps to convert IS2 to BMP using FLIR Tools

1. Open FLIR Tools and click on File → Open to select the IS2 file you want to convert.
2. Once the file is open, click on File → Save As.
3. In the 'Save as type' dropdown menu, select BMP format.
4. Click 'Save' to start the conversion process.

Please note that the conversion might result in the loss of thermal data, as BMP is not designed to store such information.
