How to convert DRWDOT to STEP

The best and most reliable software for this process is SOLIDWORKS itself. It natively supports both DRWDOT templates and STEP export. For users without SOLIDWORKS, consider using FreeCAD or Autodesk Fusion 360 to open and export STEP files, but you will still need access to the original 3D model, not just the DRWDOT template.
