2. Check the model for print readiness: apply scale, apply modifiers if needed, and make sure the mesh is manifold and watertight.

5. If direct 3MF export is not available, export from Blender to STL or OBJ first using File → Export, then open that file in a slicer or 3D-printing tool that can save as 3MF.

Notes on quality, compatibility, or limitations

BLEND is a full scene format, while 3MF is primarily a manufacturing format. That means the conversion usually preserves only the printable mesh data, not the full Blender scene structure, animation, rigging, node setups, or simulation data. Materials and colors may transfer only if the export path and target software support them. For best results, ensure the model is manifold, has correct normals, and uses real-world units before exporting. If the model contains multiple objects or complex modifiers, test the output in a slicer because some features may be simplified or lost during conversion.
