Notes on quality and limitations

PUB to WebP is not a true document conversion; it is a conversion from a page-layout document to an image. That means the result will not remain editable as a publication. Text, vector shapes, and layout elements are flattened into pixels.

For best quality, export the PUB page at a high resolution before converting to WebP. This is especially important for text-heavy brochures and documents with fine details. If the WebP is intended for the web, balance quality and file size by using lossy WebP for photos and lossless WebP for sharp graphics or text.
