Understanding BTW and Word file formats

Converting BTW to Word

Converting a BTW file to a Word document is not a straightforward process because these two file types serve different purposes. However, it's possible to convert the barcode image from a BTW file into a format that can be inserted into a Word document.

First, you need to open the BTW file in BarTender and export the barcode image. To do this, go to File → Export → Image. Save the image in a format that Word can handle, such as JPEG or PNG.

Next, open a new Word document. Go to Insert → Pictures → This Device and select the image you just exported. You can then resize and position the image as needed.

Best software for conversion

As mentioned earlier, BarTender is the best software to handle BTW files. For Word documents, Microsoft Word is the go-to software. If you don't have access to Microsoft Word, you can use online converters like Zamzar to convert the exported image to a Word document.
