Converting WAV audio files to DarkWave Studio project files (.dwp) is possible, but it is not a direct audio format conversion. A .dwp file is a project file used by DarkWave Studio, so the WAV audio is typically imported into a project and then saved as a DWP file.

DarkWave Studio lets you add WAV files to a project, arrange them on tracks, and save the project in DWP format. In other words, the WAV file becomes part of the project rather than being converted into a new audio file type.
