How to perform the conversion

The best way to convert EXP to U01 is with embroidery digitizing or conversion software that supports both formats. A common desktop option is Wilcom, Pulse, Embird, or another professional embroidery suite with multi-format import and export support.

1. Open your embroidery software.
2. Import the EXP file using File → Open or File → Import.
3. Check the design for stitch order, colors, and size. If needed, make any adjustments before exporting.
4. Choose File → Save As or File → Export.
5. Select U01 as the output format.

Keep in mind that some EXP files may use brand-specific encoding or contain features that do not map exactly to U01.
