Free online EXP to PEC converter

Understanding exp and pec file formats

EXP files are embroidery design files created by Melco embroidery machines. They contain stitch data, color changes, and machine commands for automated embroidery. PEC files, on the other hand, are used by Brother and Babylock embroidery machines. They also store stitch patterns, color information, and machine instructions, but in a format compatible with Brother's hardware and software.

Why convert exp to pec?

Converting EXP to PEC is essential when you want to use embroidery designs created for Melco machines on Brother or Babylock embroidery machines. This ensures compatibility and allows you to use a wider range of designs on your preferred hardware.
