What the TXT format is
TXT is unformatted plain text. It is supported by Notepad, TextEdit, code editors, document-management systems, search tools, and command-line utilities. A converted mind map can preserve topic names and, depending on the converter, indentation or other outline markers, but it cannot retain connectors, colors, icons, images, spacing, or the original canvas layout.
