How to convert SEW to AI

- Open the SEW file in compatible embroidery software such as Embird, Wilcom embroidery software, Janome Digitizer, or another application that supports SEW import.

SVGin Adobe Illustrator with File → Open. If only aPNGpreview is available, place it with File → Place, reduce its opacity, and redraw the shapes with the Pen, Shape Builder, or Image Trace tools. - Inspect and edit the resulting paths, remove the preview image, set fills and strokes, and confirm the document color mode and dimensions.
- Save the vector document with File → Save As, choose
Adobe Illustrator (AI), and select an Illustrator compatibility version appropriate for the software receiving the file.

Quality and compatibility limitations
