The JPG is a rendered picture, so its appearance depends on the embroidery application's thread chart, simulated fabric, stitch rendering, and selected background. Thread colors on screen are approximations and may differ from the physical thread.
JPEG compression can blur fine satin-stitch edges and small lettering. Use a high-quality setting and enough pixels for the intended display; do not repeatedly resave the same JPG. If a transparent background is required, use PNG instead, because JPG does not preserve transparency.
Converting back from JPG cannot restore the original stitch data. Keep the original .sew file and use it, or another embroidery format exported from it, for machine production.
