What the ACCDB format is

How to convert ACCDB to RTF

Using Microsoft Access

1. Make a backup of the original .accdb file and open it in Microsoft Access.
2. For a table or query, open the object and verify that the records and calculated values are current. For a cleaner document, create a report from the table or query with Create → Report Wizard.
3. Select the table, query, or report in the Navigation Pane. A report usually gives the best output because it preserves headings, grouping, sorting, page breaks, and calculated totals.
4. Choose External Data → Export → Word. In the export dialog, select Rich Text Format if Access presents multiple Word formats, choose a destination, and confirm the export.
5. Open the resulting .rtf file in Word, WordPad, or LibreOffice Writer. Check page breaks, column widths, special characters, images, and long field values before sharing it.

If the database contains linked tables, refresh the links and rerun the query before exporting. If only selected records are needed, apply and verify a filter before starting the export.
