.accde files are database file generated by Microsoft Access. They save a "locked-down" version of an .accdb file in order for the entire Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) code to be saved in a compiled format. It cannot neither be viewed, nor edited. This way it protects the custom database code.
Generate compiled-executable .accde databases from .accdb source files in Microsoft Access.
- Go to 'File - Save & Publish'
- Select 'Save Database As'
- Make ACCDE
- Select 'Save As'
It's quite possible that certain other applications that work with Microsoft Access databases can also generate .accde files from original sources.
