Convert SESX to MP4

Adobe Audition SESX files are session files that store a project’s structure, such as track arrangements, effects, and references to audio files. While SESX files are not directly convertible to MP4 - since MP4 is a video format and SESX files contain no media themselves - it’s still possible to create an MP4 by exporting audio from Adobe Audition and combining it with visuals in a video editing tool. Try to use the latest Adobe Audition and export the project to MP4 format if possible.

Export the audio from SESX in Adobe Audition

• Open your SESX project in Adobe Audition.
• Ensure all audio tracks are correctly edited and mixed to your satisfaction.
• Go to File → Export → Multitrack Mixdown → Entire session (or select a specific range to export).
• Choose an appropriate audio format for the output file, such as WAV or MP3.
• Save the exported file to your desired location.

Prepare visuals for your MP4

Since MP4 is a multimedia container format, you'll need video or static visuals. Decide what type of visuals you want: a still image (e.g., an album cover or logo), a slideshow, or a complete video synced with your audio. If necessary, prepare your visuals using an image or video editing tool (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or Adobe Premiere Pro).

Combine audio and visuals in a video editor

• Open a video editing tool like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro or a free alternative like DaVinci Resolve or CapCut.
• Import your exported audio file and your visuals into the editor.
• Place the visuals and audio on the video track. Adjust the duration of the visuals to match the length of the audio.
• Add any additional effects, transitions, or text as desired.

Export as MP4

• Once your project is ready, go to your video editor's Export or Render option.
• Select MP4 as the output format, and adjust the resolution, bitrate, and other settings to suit your needs (e.g., HD for high-quality output).
• Save the MP4 file to your preferred location.
