Notes on quality and limitations

XLSX to WebP is a one-way visual conversion. The resulting WebP file will not contain editable cells, formulas, or multiple worksheets as spreadsheet data. If the workbook has several sheets, you may need to export each sheet separately and create one WebP image per sheet.

Because spreadsheets can contain small text and fine grid lines, image quality matters. Use a sufficiently high resolution or export scale so the text remains sharp. If the sheet is wide, the final WebP may become large or difficult to read on small screens. Also note that some spreadsheet features, such as charts, conditional formatting, and merged cells, may render differently depending on the application used for export.
