Samsung Kies mobile software allows users to export contacts from backups (for example .spba files) and save them in either VCF or CSV formats. Once you have one of these files, you can simply open / import them in MS Excel or other spreadsheet program and save it to some other format, including .xls files. Alas, this seems to be the only way to achieve spba to xls conversion and no program allows direct way to convert spba to xls.
