Notes on quality and limitations

The main limitation is that JPG is an image format, not a text document, so there is no true one-click conversion into meaningful AsciiDoc content. If the JPG contains text, you will need OCR to turn the image into editable text before saving it as ADOC. OCR accuracy depends on image quality, font clarity, contrast, and resolution.

If your goal is only to display the image inside AsciiDoc, the conversion is straightforward: the ADOC file stores a reference to the JPG rather than converting the pixels themselves. Keep the JPG in a stable location relative to the ADOC file so links do not break. For publishing, AsciiDoc processors such as Asciidoctor will render the referenced JPG correctly in HTML or PDF output, provided the image path is valid.
