It seems that some of the later versions of Omni-Crypt (previously WhatsApp Tri-Crypt) also support the old .crypt10 WhatsApp databases and can revert them back to the basic .crypt files. Once you have the original, you can export the chat history to HTML or similar formats. Nowadays WhatsApp uses Crypt12 files, so this conversion is more or less obsolete.
