On the other hand, PDI files are most commonly linked to ProntoDoc for Word (a document automation tool) or Micrografx Picture Publisher (an older graphics format). The context of your conversion will depend on which PDI format you require, but most commonly, users seek to convert presentation or image data for use in another application.

How to convert PPG to PDI

Direct conversion from PPG to PDI is not natively supported by most software, as these formats serve different purposes. However, you can use a two-step process:

1. Export your PPG file content to a common format (such as JPEG, PNG, or PPTX) using ProPresenter.
2. Convert the exported file to the required PDI format using a compatible tool.

Step-by-step conversion process

1. Open your PPG file in ProPresenter.
2. Go to File → Export → Export Slides as Images or File → Export → Export Presentation as PowerPoint.
3. Save the exported images or presentation to your computer.
4. If you need a Micrografx PDI file, use XnView or IrfanView to open the exported image and save it as PDI (if supported). For ProntoDoc PDI, use the ProntoDoc add-in for Microsoft Word to import your content and save as PDI.
