Why convert TIBX to VMDK?

Converting a TIBX backup to a VMDK virtual disk allows you to restore a physical or backed-up system as a virtual machine in VMware Workstation, ESXi, or other VMware products. This is useful for migration, testing, or disaster recovery in a virtualized environment.

How to convert TIBX to VMDK

Direct conversion from TIBX to VMDK is not natively supported by most software. However, you can achieve this in two main steps:

2. Convert the restored disk to VMDK format using disk imaging tools.
