Understanding WBD and XLR file formats

WBD files are typically associated with Webshots Picture Files, a format used by the Webshots application for storing images and related data. These files are not standard spreadsheet or document files and are primarily used for image management.

XLR files are spreadsheet or chart files created by Microsoft Works. The XLR format is similar to Microsoft Excel's XLS but is specific to the Works suite, which is now discontinued. XLR files can contain data, charts, and formatting similar to Excel spreadsheets.

How to convert WBD to XLR

Direct conversion from WBD (an image format) to XLR (a spreadsheet format) is not natively supported by most software, as these formats serve different purposes. However, if your WBD file contains tabular data (for example, an image of a table), you can follow these steps:

1. Use a tool like XnView or IrfanView to open and export the WBD file to a standard image format such as JPEG or PNG.
