Convert FH11 to PSD

It can be very challenging to effectively convert Freehand to Photoshop, as Freehand drawings (such as .fh11) are not supported in Photoshop, and it's unlikely that you will be able to convert an .fh11 file directly to .psd.

However, Photoshop probably has the ability to import Illustrator drawings (or at least work with whatever Illustrator can export), and there are methods for converting Freehand drawings to Illustrator, so with a significant workaround you might be able to manually convert an .fh11 file to .psd.

Users can import old FreeHand drawings (such as .fh11) directly into Adobe Illustrator and save them as .ai drawings by using a script from Adobe, which is available for download. This method seems to be working only for CS4/CS5 versions of Illustrator. It doesn't work for the latest CC.
