Convert EXE to XAPK
EXE files cannot be directly converted; an Android APK and matching expansion files are required.

Simply put, it is impossible to convert EXE to XAPK directly.
Thus, there is no so-called exe to xapk converter or a free online .exe to .xapk conversion tool.

An EXE is a Windows executable, while an XAPK is an Android application bundle. A direct conversion is therefore not available; you need the app's Android APK and any expansion files, usually obtained from the developer or an Android build project.
What the EXE format is
EXE is the Windows Portable Executable format used for applications, installers, launchers, and self-extracting packages. Visual Studio, MinGW, .NET publishing tools, NSIS, Inno Setup, and PyInstaller can create EXE files. You encounter one when installing or starting Windows software, including a Windows version of a mobile game's companion tool.
An EXE normally contains Windows machine code and Windows-specific libraries. Android cannot install or execute it as an APK, and changing its filename or compressing it does not alter its platform or executable format.
What the XAPK format is
XAPK is an unofficial container used by some Android installers to distribute an APK together with additional files. A typical package contains one base APK, an optional OBB expansion file under Android/obb/<package.name>/, and sometimes a manifest.json file. Split APKs may also be included for separate CPU architectures or Android configurations.
XAPK is useful when an application is too large or complex for a single APK. It keeps the installable APK and its required expansion data together, but Android's standard package installer does not universally recognize the XAPK extension; a compatible installer is required.
How to actually convert EXE to XAPK
There is no reliable EXE-to-XAPK converter because the two files contain code for different operating systems. Use the applicable route below.
- Find an Android build. Download the developer's APK/XAPK release, obtain the Android project source, or ask the software vendor for an Android package. Do not treat a Windows EXE as the source binary for an Android application.
- Check whether the EXE is only a self-extracting wrapper. If its publisher documents that it contains Android files, inspect a copy with 7-Zip using 7-Zip → Open archive or run
7z l program.exe. Extract with7z x program.exe -oextractedand look for an APK, OBB, or split APK files. Do not execute an unknown EXE merely to obtain its contents. - Build the Android package when source code exists. Open the project in Android Studio, select the required build variant, then use Build → Generate Signed Bundle/APK → APK. A release APK must be signed with the application's Android signing key. An EXE produced by a Windows build cannot be converted into this APK; Android source and dependencies are required.
- Assemble the container with 7-Zip. Put the base APK at the archive root. Put an expansion file at
Android/obb/com.example.app/main.1.com.example.app.obb, replacing the package name and version values with those used by the APK. For split APKs, place all required split files at the root. - Create a ZIP archive containing those files, then rename it from
app.ziptoapp.xapk. For example, from a directory containing the APK andAndroid/, use7z a -tzip app.zip app.apk Android, then rename the result toapp.xapk. - If the target installer requires a manifest, create its documented
manifest.jsonwith the package name, version code, version name, APK filename, and OBB metadata, then add it to the archive. XAPK metadata is not standardized, so follow the target installer's specification rather than inventing fields. - Test the package on an Android device or emulator with the same ABI and Android-version requirements. Install it through an XAPK-capable installer, not the default APK installer, and verify that the OBB is copied to the exact package directory.
Compatibility and limitations
Renaming an EXE to .xapk, placing the EXE inside a ZIP, or using an online archive converter does not create an Android application. Reputable online converters generally do not offer this conversion because executable upload creates security and intellectual-property risks; do not upload proprietary or untrusted EXE files.
Android packages must match the device's CPU architecture, API level, signing requirements, and application ID. An OBB must match the APK's package name and version code. Modern applications may use Play Asset Delivery, dynamic feature modules, or server-side licensing instead of OBB files; these cannot be reconstructed into a working XAPK by simple archiving.
Use Android Studio for rebuilding and 7-Zip for inspection and packaging. Use an XAPK installer from a source you trust only when the package publisher confirms that installer format; XAPK itself is a distribution convention, not an official Android package format.
