Convert DWG to EDRW

SolidWorks is pretty much the only software that can be used to create eDrawing files (.edrw, .easm) out of CAD drawings, which is what dwg to edrw conversion pretty much represents. Other similar software  like AutoCAD, CATIA, Inventor and perhaps other need a special eDrawings Publisher plugin that adds support for export to EDRW format.

eDrawings are more or less like some sort of PDF format for CAD. These files are only meant for viewing and sharing, but not for editing. A special eDrawings viewer is used for opening the files can be download for free from SolidWorks website.
