Notes on quality, compatibility, or limitations

BMP is not converted into editable LaTeX content. The image is typically referenced or embedded inside the TEX source, so the resulting file is a document script rather than a transformed picture. If you need the image itself to become editable text or vector shapes, you would need OCR or vectorization tools instead.

Compatibility depends on the LaTeX engine and image support. Standard LaTeX workflows usually handle BMP less reliably than PNG, JPG, or PDF, so many users first convert BMP to a more LaTeX-friendly image format before including it. Also, a TEX file is only useful when paired with the referenced image file unless the image is encoded directly into the document workflow.
