Understanding AEP and GIF file formats

The AEP file format is associated with Adobe After Effects, a powerful video post-production tool used for creating motion graphics and visual effects. Converting AEP to GIF

Converting an AEP file to a GIF is not a direct process, as AEP is a project file, not a video file. The process involves exporting the AEP file to a video format first (like MP4), and then converting that video file to a GIF. Adobe After Effects itself can be used for the first part of this process.

Using Adobe After Effects

Open your AEP file in Adobe After Effects. Go to File → Export → Add to Render Queue. In the Render Queue window, change the settings to your preference and then click on the Render button to create a video file.

Using a Video to GIF converter

Once you have your video file, you can use a tool like ezgif.com to convert your video to a GIF. Simply upload your video file, adjust settings as needed, and click on Convert to GIF.
