What is an RIS file?

Can a PDF be converted to RIS?

How to convert PDF to RIS

PDF-to-RIS conversion is not always reliable. Scanned PDFs, image-only documents, and poorly formatted files often lack machine-readable text, so automatic citation extraction may fail. In those cases, OCR may help, but manual verification is still necessary.

Also, RIS is a citation exchange format, not a full document format. It stores reference data, not the PDF content itself.
