Convert XLS to VSD

You can import Microsoft Excel spreadsheet (.xls) to Microsoft Visio (.vsd) via the Insert ► Object.. function in MS Visio.  In the program you select the create from file option and browse to your Excel workbooks. The data from these tables will be then visible in Visio workspace and can be saved as part of Visio projects.
