You should be able to save PowerPoint PPSX presentation to older PPS format using the File ► save as.. function in PowerPoin, which is what ppsx to pps conversion represents. Some other presentation programs may also be able to perform the conversion, but for compatibility reasons it is best to do it in PowerPoint.
