Convert DOC to VSD

You can import Microsoft Word documents (.doc, .docx) to Microsoft Visio with the Insert ► Object.. function that can be found in the program. There you select the create from file option and browse to your Word document. The text from these documents will be then visible in Visio workspace and can be saved as part of Visio projects, which will essentially achieve doc to vsd conversion.
