.ec4 files are project/cover files created by Epson Print CD. They are not image files, so there is usually no direct conversion from EC4 to JPEG.

If you need a JPEG version of an .ec4 design, the common workaround is to open the file in Epson Print CD and output it to PDF, then convert that PDF to .jpg or .jpeg. This typically requires either a virtual PDF printer or a built-in PDF export option.

Typical workflow:

1. Open the .ec4 file in Epson Print CD.
2. Choose File → Print and select a PDF printer, or use File → Export if the program offers PDF output.
3. Save the result as a PDF.
4. Convert the PDF to JPEG using an image converter, PDF editor, or online converter.

Important: JPEG is a raster format, so the final quality depends on the PDF resolution and the print/export settings. For best results, use the highest practical resolution before converting.

If you only need to view the design, use Epson Print CD itself or a compatible viewer. Standard image editors usually cannot open .ec4 files directly.

Note: Some Epson Print CD versions may not include a true PDF export feature, so the PDF-printer method is often the most reliable option.
