Convert BAK to CSV

Directly converting .bak files (used by several backup file types) to Comma-Separated Values Files (.bak to .csv conversion) is not very straightforward. Often .bak files are only renamed .csv files, as that is typically the easiest way to generate file backups.

Try opening the .bak file using one of the many available text editing tools, and see whether data within that file is structured in a comma-separated value format. Should that be the case, all you have to do is to rename the suffix from .bak to .csv.

In other cases, you might have to refer to the .bak file's original software to see whether it allows users to export the original data as .csv format.
