Some (but not every type) .pak files used as game resource packages are just renamed ZIP files, which means that it should be possible to convert these via zip to pak conversion. You can create your own "PAKs" when you rename a ZIP archive that contains relevant data, it won't work with just any files.
The database currently does not contain any zip file converter.
