Free online WB2 to XLSX converter

What the WB2 format is

Using LibreOffice Calc

1. Install a desktop version of LibreOffice that includes the Quattro Pro import filter.
2. Open Calc and choose File → Open.
3. Select the .wb2 file. If Calc asks for an import filter, choose the Quattro Pro filter associated with the file.
4. Check the imported sheets, formulas, dates, column widths, charts, merged cells, and print settings.
5. Choose File → Save As, select Excel 2007–365 (*.xlsx), and save the workbook.
6. If LibreOffice warns about using its native format, choose Use Excel 2007–365 Format.

For batch work, LibreOffice can be invoked from a terminal with soffice --headless --convert-to xlsx --outdir output input.wb2. This automates file conversion but does not confirm that formulas, charts, or page layout survived correctly; inspect representative output files manually.

Using Quattro Pro

A compatible Corel Quattro Pro installation may provide a more accurate first import, especially for proprietary formulas or formatting. Open the file, choose File → Save As, and select an available Excel format. If that version cannot create .xlsx, save as .xls or another format it supports, then open the intermediate file in Excel or LibreOffice Calc and save it as XLSX.
