Conversion of vpe files to aepx file format

It looks like that Adobe After Effects movie post processing tool allows import of .vpe files (Photoshop Extended vanishing points) and as such it is likely it can be somehow used in a new or edited project file (.aepx). However, we couldn't find anything specific regarding this conversion.
