How to convert dmp to 028

There is no direct or standard conversion between DMP and 028 formats, as they serve entirely different purposes. However, if you need to package a DMP file into a segmented archive (where one segment would be named .028), you can use an archiving tool to split the DMP file into parts, one of which will have the .028 extension.

Recommended software for conversion

• WinRAR (Windows):
  • Open WinRAR and navigate to your DMP file.
  • Select the DMP file and click Add.
  • In the dialog, set Split to volumes, size (e.g., 10 MB).
  • Click OK to create a multi-part archive. The resulting files will be named sequentially, such as .001, .002, ..., .028, etc.

  • Set Split to volumes, bytes to your desired size.
