While there are not many direct converters for DICOM to ART due to the rarity of the ART format, you can use a two-step process involving intermediate formats like JPEG or PNG.

• MicroDicom: This is a free DICOM viewer that allows you to open DICOM files and export them to common image formats like JPEG or PNG. Use the File → Export → To Image option to convert the DICOM file to a more common format.
• XnConvert: Once you have the image in a common format, use XnConvert to convert it to an ART file. XnConvert supports a wide range of formats and can handle batch conversions.

Steps for conversion

1. Open the DICOM file in MicroDicom.
2. Use File → Export → To Image to save the file as a JPEG or PNG.
