How to export CeledyDraw drawings to PDF format

CeledyDraw graphic design and desktop publishing software supports the export of its own drawings (.cdw) to a standard PDF format. This is the only software that supports these .cdw files, so you really do not have alternatives. The default export/print function should be sufficient for this task. You can find some versions of CeledyDraw for download on various websites.

Exporting KOMPAS 3D CDW files to 3D PDF

This can be somewhat difficult to achieve, considering that KOMPAS 3D lacks native support for the 3D PDF format. Some third-party plugins that enable the 3D PDF format exist, but some were discontinued years ago.

If you need CDW format from KOMPAS 3D in 3D PDF format, you have to first export the content to a suitable format, such as STP, IGES, or STL, but OBJ or DAE works fine as well. In any case, you will require access to KOMPAS 3D to export your files. Even the trial version provided by Ascon should be sufficient for this task.

Once you have the model in an alternative format, use Adobe Acrobat Pro, SimLab Composer, QuadriSpace Publisher3D, or any suitable rendering solution to produce a 3D PDF file.
