002 and 001 files are not traditional file formats but rather parts of a split archive. The .001 file is the first segment, while .002 is the second. To access the original file, you must join all parts in the correct order. Converting a .002 file to .001 is not a standard conversion, as each part contains unique data. Instead, you should combine all parts to reconstruct the original file.

How to combine 002 and 001 files

To restore the original file from .001, .002, and other parts, use a file joining tool. The process is as follows:

• Ensure all parts (.001, .002, etc.) are in the same folder.
• Use a file joiner to merge the segments.

Important notes
